Mobile Education Store Talks Speech Therapy Apps with Rutgers University

Mobile Education Store was recently invited to speak at Rutgers University ConnectU Academy.  ConnectU Academy is a continuing education program to help teachers stay current by offering regular webinars on important and cutting edge topics in education.  They have guests who are content area experts, educational practitioners and app developers. Their latest webinar was titled “Engaging Apps for Building Language Skills” and they brought Mobile Education Store in to discuss and demo four of our speech therapy apps.  There was also a SLP who presented about how she uses these four apps and the kind of progress her students have been making.  It really was very useful with MES first talking and showing apps, and then a practitioner speak about her experience with it.

For those of you who did not get a chance to attend, Rutgers has graciously posted a recording of the entire event.  If you click on this link, you will be able to watch and listen to the entire thing.  We spoke about PrepositionBuilder, Rainbow Sentences, TenseBuilder and ConversationBuilderTeen.

We want to thank the folks at Rutgers for having us.

PrepositionBuilder, TenseBuilder, ConversationBuilder and Rainbow Sentences are all members of Mobile Education Store’s award winning suite of education apps.  MES was named 2011’s Educational App Developer of the Year by Teachers With Apps.  MES has also won 25 app awards over the last three years.
