This review of Mobile Education Store’s TenseBuilder Verb appwas written by Pamela Bankston.

Her blog, Public School SLP, was voted a top speech pathology blog for 2012. She does a great job on her reviews and has a lot of useful information on all subjects related to speech pathology. On top of all that, she is having a giveaway of a free copy of TenseBuilder. Stop by her blog to enter!!

TenseBuilder employs movie quality animations to teach tense. We take the students through an entire timeline, which gives the them a much deeper understanding of Tense markers and why they are important. Because we are using video, we are able to tackle the difficult verbs (do, go, come) that do not have concrete action associated with them. These verbs can be difficult for many children to fully comprehend, but they become crystal clear with the animations. Combine this with a lot of humor in the animations themselves, and you have an app that kids love to play that teaches tense in a way not possible with flash cards or worksheets.

TenseBuilder is the newest addition to Mobile Education Store’s award winning “Builder Series” of educational apps. MES was named 2011’s Educational App Developer of the Year by Teachers With Apps and they have won over 20 app awards over the last three years.
