This review of MES’s TenseBuilder Education App was written by the folks at Education.com.  Education.com is the goto destination for any parent or teacher trying to find information not only about apps, but about all things relating to education.  They have extensive activity ideas, worksheets, workbooks, Q&A and of course, app reviews.  This site is worthy of a look through.  They rate TenseBuilder 4 starts for education value and 4 starts for fun factor, making it one of their highest rated apps.

TenseBuilder employs movie quality animations to teach tense. We take the students through an entire timeline, which gives the them a much deeper understanding of Tense markers and why they are important. Because we are using video, we are able to tackle the difficult verbs (do, go, come) that do not have concrete action associated with them.  These verbs can be difficult for many children to comprehend, but they become crystal clear with the animations. Combine this with a lot of humor in the animations themselves, and you have an app that kids love to play that teaches tense in a way not possible with flash cards or worksheets.

TenseBuilder is the newest addition to Mobile Education Store’s award winning “Builder Series” of education apps.  MES was named 2011’s Educational App Developer of the Year by Teachers With Apps.  MES has also won over 20 app awards over the last three years.
