I see Conversation Builder and Conversation Builder Deluxe both available in the App Store – both the same price. Is there any difference between these apps? If so, can you enumerate? Thanks!

Dave,

Sorry it took so long to get back to you on this. Your message slipped through the cracks. There is no difference between ConversationBuilder and ConversationBuilderDeluxe. There used to be, but now they are the same. Hope this helps.

Why on earth is the ipad app more than twice the cost of the iphone app?

Kyle

Comment left on: January 19th, 2013 at 10:14 am

Dimitra,

The iPad version actually costs less than the iPhone version. In the iPhone version, you get 40 conversations and then you have the option to purchase 20 conversation modules for $5 each. There are 6 of these modules available. The iPad version has all the extra modules included in the base app. You do not need to purchase them. I made this change because in app purchases are problematic for schools.

I am a speech-language pathologist and behaviour analyst. I would like to review the conversation builder and conversation builder – teen to assist a client’s family in selecting which one to purchase. I will probably also buy both or at least one myself, but I would like to have more information first. Do you offer a lite version for trials or an option for professionals to obtain trial versions for a lower price?

Thank you,
Sari

Bought the mobile education conversation builder app for teens. It has stopped recording my son’s voice. Called Apple and my device is working correctly. They told me to contact you all. There is no way to talk to a person, so I am trying to contact you all this way. Please respond to this e-mail. Thanks.

Susan,

Sorry for the delay getting back on this – I never saw the message. The problem is with the permissions on your iPad. Apps used to have automatic permission to use the microphone – now you must give them permission. If you go to http://www.mobile-educationstore.com/support, we take you through how to set up your iPad properly.

Sorry again for the delay.

Great resource. It took years to find this.
It would be great to tag under social skills or speech therapy or developmental delay etc. I m glad I finally found which is exactly what I need.
Probably complete in few months and see what next or what to do.

Hi there… is there any way to get an older version of the app that is compatible with iPad 1st generation, iOS 5.1.1?

Thanks!

Kyle

Maria,

Unfortunately no. Apple doesn’t allow up to go backward that far and still work with current iPad’s. Sorry.

Are Conversation Builder & Expressive Builder available for ordering with a purchase order?

Kyle

Comment left on: April 13th, 2021 at 6:58 am

Jessica – I apologize for never answering your question – I unfortunately didn’t get an alert that you left a message here. The answer is that all orders need to come through Apple, they do not let us developers collect money or do billing. I would suggest you reach out to your IT person, most schools have deals set up with Apple, but I don’t know how the billing works.
